Criminal Background Report Procedure
To provide a safe working and learning environment for our faculty, staff, and students, the Human Resources Department has established the following procedure through which a criminal background report will be required for the final candidate for a full-time or part-time, permanent or temporary (non-student), EHRA or SHRA position at UNC Charlotte. Student employees who are hired in positions that falls under the University policy's definition of 'sensitive duties' will also be required to consent to a criminal background check.
