Compensation
The Compensation and Position Management unit is committed to the University’s goal to recruit and retain highly qualified employees; reward employees based on their demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities; and support the achievement of organizational goals.
Under our current SHRA Career banding pay plan, market rates have been established based on comparable positions in the external labor market. The purpose of these market reference rates is to enable the State to be more competitive so that we may attract and retain outstanding talent. These rates have been established at the state level at the Office of State Human Resources and will be reviewed periodically to remain competitive with the external labor market.
