Ginger and EAP share resources for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

Categories: General News Tags: General News

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, the designated month to raise awareness about suicide prevention and to help those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts. It is a time for us to reflect and act on what we can do to support those who are struggling today.

If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts or is at risk of suicide, reach out for help immediately. Dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or text the national Crisis Text Line to speak directly with a counselor. For those outside the U.S., you can find a line to call or text here

ComPsych, the University’s Employee Assistance Program, and Ginger have provided the resources below to learn more.
