Important: Renew Your Telework / Remote Work Agreement for 2024-25
Our 2023-24 Telework/Remote Agreement cycle ends on Aug. 31, 2024.
As we approach the end of the current 2023-24 telework/remote work agreement cycle, please be reminded that all existing agreements must be reviewed and renewed for the upcoming academic year (2024-25).
Key Dates and Actions for 2024-25:
- Review and renewal deadline: Sept. 1, 2024
- Upcoming cycle/academic year: Sept. 1, 2024 – Aug. 31, 2025
For Employees with Existing Agreements:
- Renewal process: If your current Telework/Remote Work Agreement is still valid and you do not need to make changes, you will need to complete and sign the Docusign Telework/Remote Work Agreement Renewal Form. Forward this form to your manager for approval.
- Changes required: If there are any modifications to your telework arrangement, such as changes in location, department or number of days, a new Docusign Telework/Remote Work Agreement Request Form must be submitted.
- Email notification: You should have received an email notification on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2024 informing you that your active agreement is due to expire on Aug. 31, 2024, along with steps to take to renew your agreement.
For Employees with Existing Agreements:
- If you are currently working under a telework or remote arrangement lasting more than 30 days but do not have a formal agreement on file, you are required to complete and submit a Docusign Telework/Remote Work Agreement Request Form. Note that agreements cannot exceed 12 months and must end by Aug. 31 each year to align with the academic year. Please note the “academic” year is defined as the period between Sept. 1 – Aug. 31.

- Agreement validity: Up to 12 months (Sept. 1 – Aug. 31, annually)
