Verify your insurance deductions

As a reminder, health insurance deductions begin with your Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, paycheck. If you enrolled in the State Health Plan for the 2024 plan year, verify the plan and deduction on your paycheck with your open enrollment confirmation statement from the eBenefits platform.

NCFlex and UNC System Life Insurance deductions start with your Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, paycheck. If you enrolled in any of these plans, verify the plan details and deduction on your paycheck with your open enrollment confirmation statement from the UNC System Benefits (Empyrean) platform.

Report any discrepancies to the Benefits Office at Benefits@charlotte.edu or 704-687-8134 to provide adequate time to process any exception requests in accordance with the following deadlines:

  • For State Health Plan: Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024
  • For NCFlex and UNC System Life Insurance: Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024
