Unlawful Workplace Harassment
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is committed to providing an environment for all employees and students which is fair, humane, and respectful that supports and rewards employee and student performance on the basis of relevant considerations such as ability and effort. Conduct that inappropriately calls attention to a person’s race, sex, religion, national origin, age, color, disability or genetic information, especially when it asserts that it is relevant to employee or student performance, is damaging to that environment.
See the state policy on Unlawful Workplace Harassment and the Grievance and Appeals Procedures for SHRA Employees.
