Nominations Open for the 2026 Student Employee of the Year Award

The Student Employment Office is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Student Employee of the Year Award. This annual recognition honors UNC Charlotte student employees who demonstrate exceptional dedication, professionalism and contributions to their departments.

To be eligible, nominees must be undergraduate students employed in any student-employee role, be currently enrolled at UNC Charlotte and have completed at least two full, consecutive semesters of employment in the same office or department, not including the spring 2026 semester.

Completed nomination packets must be emailed to Teresa Shook, human resources student employment specialist, at tshook4@charlotte.edu by noon, Friday, Feb. 27. Only fully completed nomination forms and essays submitted by the deadline and meeting all eligibility requirements will be accepted.
