Wellness Workshops Support Faculty and Staff

UNC Charlotte is expanding its commitment to employee well‑being this spring with a new slate of free virtual workshops offered through ComPsych GuidanceResources® and the NC Office of State Human Resources (OSHR). These programs are available to all permanent faculty and staff, as well as their dependents.

GuidanceResources®, the University’s confidential support program, provides no‑cost access to counseling, financial and legal guidance and everyday work‑life resources. As part of its March programming, ComPsych will host two lunchtime webinars focused on improving overall wellness.

In addition, OSHR continues its monthly lunch and learn series designed to help employees strengthen their physical and mental health.

Registered dietitian Katie Godin, RD, LDN, from LifeStyle Medical Center, will share practical strategies for navigating the grocery store, reading nutrition labels, choosing fresh produce and sticking to a realistic budget. The session will also include a live demonstration of a healthy, budget‑friendly pasta dish. Participants who register will receive the recipe and a recording of the event.

These offerings reflect UNC Charlotte’s holistic approach to supporting employees at work, at home and everywhere in between.
