Iris Driver

Iris is responsible for the intake of employee complaints, resolution of such complaints, administering the disciplinary procedures including reviewing and editing written warnings and other such documentation. Additionally, Iris’ role includes Employee Relations collaborations as a liaison and business partner for staff and leadership to promote development, retention, and positive workplace culture.

Iris joined UNC Charlotte in November 2023. Prior to UNC Charlotte, Iris spent the last decade in Healthcare Management to include Human Resources and Clinical Operations. Iris began her people-centered professional career in the NYC social services system where she would spend 10 years in leadership roles in both government and nonprofit sectors. Iris also served as a union delegate and advocate for city employees for four years.

Iris earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Touro College in New York City, and subsequently earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York Graduate School.
