Alessandra Pastor

Alessandra is a learning and development specialist in Human Resources at UNC Charlotte. She co-facilitates key programs such as New Employee Orientation (NEO), Campus Connection Events (CCE) and ASPIRE. Alessandra collaborates with the Learning and Organizational Development team to design and deliver trainings that support the personal and professional development of faculty and staff members. She also provides support to employees utilizing the tuition waiver program. 

Alessandra joined UNC Charlotte in October 2022.

Having a background in education, Alessandra taught for eight years in both New Hampshire and Warsaw, Poland. She comes from the Canadian School of Warsaw, where she was a team-lead and second grade teacher. She has extensive experience in data collection, designing tailored trainings, event planning, and leading a diverse team of educators and support staff.   

Alessandra also has experience in instructional design, curriculum development and community engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education from Southern New Hampshire University. Alessandra will be earning her Master’s in Education in Learning, Design and Technology with a concentration in training and development from UNC Charlotte in May 2025. 

Alessandra loves to travel and learn about different cultures. She also enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with her loved ones and pets.
