Susan (Sue) Edwards

Sue is responsible for centrally processing all on-campus temporary employment actions, as well as assisting with student employment during peak seasons. She completes job postings, coaches hiring managers, initiates criminal background checks, approves hiring proposals, approves Niner-Works applicants once the I-9s are received, and develops and maintains productive and collaborative work relationships with managers and co-workers.

Sue joined UNC Charlotte in January 2022 and holds an associate’s degree in business management.

Sue enjoys family time, cruises, getting massages and pedicures, outings with her lady friends, worship, praise dance, and binge-watching TV shows on the weekend. Her favorite saying is “I don’t have to go to work, I get to go to work.” Changing one word can change your entire mindset, positive vibes!
