The annual performance cycle begins on April 1 and ends March 31 of the following year.
While, the performance plan is the anchor of this process, the subsequent communication between the employee and the supervisor and/or manager are just as important. Ensuring employees provide, as well as receive, ongoing feedback about how effectively they are performing relative to established goals can be all the difference between a happy and motivated employee and a disengaged employee.
